Nathan Oduwa was one of the biggest talents in Tottenham Hotspur’s youth academy and even had his name mentioned in AJ Tracey’s Daily Duppy song late last year.
Oduwa joined Tottenham’s famous academy in 2007 but failed to make a competitive first team appearance after turning pro in 2013.
Oduwa spent a large majority of his time at White Hart Lane out on loan with clubs such as Luton Town and Scottish powerhouse, Rangers both securing his services.
During his time in Scotland with Rangers, the former England U20 was joined by his Spurs team-mate, Dominic Ball.
The winger most recently spent time with Colchester United and Peterborough, also on loan before departing Spurs in a shock move.
Oduwa, who has featured for England’s Under 17, Under 18 and Under 20 as well as Nigeria’s Under 23 side left Spurs for Slovenian outfit Olimpija Ljubljana last week.
Olimpija currently play in the Slovenian first division and recently qualified for the Champions League before getting knocked out by AS Trencin.
The former Spurs talent has signed a three-year-deal with the Slovenian side after failing to secure a place in the first team like fellow youth academy graduates, Josh Onomah and Cameron Carter-Vicker have managed to do.
