What an emotional roller coaster ride that was for Lincoln City!

The Imps managed to make history as they beat Premier League side Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor to send them into the FA Cup Quarter-Finals!

Lincoln City beat Burnley 1-0.

Having already claimed victory against the likes of Ipswich and Brighton earlier in the competition, The Imps defied the odds by beating the Premier League side today.

Sean Raggett is the man who has sent Lincoln City into the next round thanks to his 89th minute header. A knighthood is surely on the cards for the former Dover man.

The whole Lincoln side put in a shift this afternoon and deserve the keys to the city after that brilliant performance!

Following Joey Barton being, well… Joey Barton, things sure heated up as the two sides battled it out.

There was no clear separation from who was the higher placed side today, as we have seen throughout the competition when Lincoln are playing.

Joey Barton met his match today as Matt Rhead was having none of his behaviour.

Two men who have revolutionised the National League side are the Cowley brothers.

After an impressive spell with Braintree last season the appointment of Danny Cowley must be one of the best decisions made by the board in recent seasons.

Brilliant summer signings have helped City force their way up the league into top spot and the treble is still on as they also remain in the FA Trophy!

A true masterplan which has worked out well! I am sure all City fans will want to thank, Danny and Nicky Cowley!

Lincoln City celebrate their win against Burnley.

So who will the Imps face in the next round?

With the draw being made tomorrow evening on BT Sport at 6.30pm, the number Lincoln fans need to keep their eyes on is one, something they have become used to this season after remaining at the top spot of the National League for such a long period.

So what do you want as an Imps fan? A home or away draw?

Paul Farman cannot stop grinning following an impressive performance.
