Hibernians grabbed three points and recorded their fourth consecutive win on Sunday as they beat Hamrun Spartans 4-1 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
On the score sheet was talented youngster, Jurgen Degabriele who managed to score his fourth goal of the season.
The forward spoke to ElWriteBack saying: “I feel happy to score a goal in our 4-1 victory we had last Sunday.
“I feel happy for me and for the team to score four goals because we’ve been lacking a bit in front of goal.”
Degabriele went on to say: “My goal for this season is to keep performing well for my team and scoring goals as well.
“As a team your goal is always to keep winning games and working hard and if the chance comes our main goal is to win the league.”
Hibernians are currently second in the BOV Premier League with just one point separating them from league leaders, Balzan.
Both sides have won eight games this season but Balzan have been more successful infront of goal scoring 23 whereas Hibs have 18 to their name.
Degabriele finished by speaking about his side’s league position: “We are currently second and one point behind the leaders therefore we have to keep working hard everyday and in every match by keep focusing on our game, that’s the only way we can gain the top spot.”
Hibernians next game is against sixth place, Sliema Wanderers on Saturday.
