With the score 1-0 at halftime, FFF made a change 15 minutes into the second half with Kamal Mustafa replacing Stefan Rodevåg.
In the 80th minute Amin Nazari levelled the score after knocking in a perfect free-kick provided by 23-year-old Johannes Vall.
The goalscorer went on to assist powerhouse, Hakeem Araba in the 83rd minute providing a successful turnaround for Falkenbergs FF.
Saturday’s result means that FFF are now 15th place in the Swedish Allsvenskan, two points ahead of Gefle.
“It feels great to get the points on the board allowing us to slowly move up the table and take points from our rivals,” said Araba.
When asked about turning the side’s league position around the forward said, “It will take a lot of hard work and dedication from the whole squad to turn it all around but I believe we can do it.
“I know we’re not going to give up, that’s for sure but we will fight until the very end.
“We have another big game against Hammarby, but it’s another game where we believe, if we do what we need to do then we can come away with another three points.”
