After an impressive first half against Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon, Sunderland goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford has been highly spoken about by a number of players and managers.
Alfreton Town Chairman, Wayne Bradley has spoken exclusively to ElWriteBack about his clubs former loanee goalkeeper.
In an interview this afternoon Bradley said, “Jordan has the lot. He is strong, agile, and quick minded. He has great hands, and is a fantastic kicker of the ball.
“I cannot speak highly enough of the young man.”
Pickford signed for Alfreton Town in 2013, on an initial one month loan. The Reds were so impressed with the goalkeeper they extended the deal until the end of the season.
During his time at North Street, the talented England U21 kept five clean sheets in twelve games.
This afternoon, three years since appearing in the then branded Blue Square Bet Premier, Pickford made his Premier League debut for Sunderland.
