As the January transfer window approaches loads of rumours are flying around on social media and within the back pages.
One rumour which has been confirmed is that Arsenal’s David Ospina is a key target for Turkish side, Besiktas.
Besiktas vice-president, Ahmet Nur Cebi has revealed that he wants to bring the Goalkeeper to the club during the January transfer window.
‘We are interested in Ospina,’ said Nur Cebi.
‘Him and goalkeepers of his calibre but just because we want him does not mean he will come.
‘We have to agree with his club and take his contract into consideration.’
Ospina is currently a regular on Arsenal’s bench after the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea during the Summer transfer window.
It is reported that the Colombian is looking to leave the club in order to find first team football.
The Black Eagles currently have a number of high profile names on their books with the likes of Ricardo Quaresma, Mario Gomez and former Fulham academy graduate, Kerim Frei Koyunlu all playing their trade in the Super Lig.
