In May 2014, Ruskington U16’s played a charity match in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK, the game was a huge hit and a total of £2,468.00 was raised. Shortly after the game, Adam Keal, the home sides captain’s father, Dave sadly passed away. This year a group of friend’s have come together to celebrate the life of a great man in the format of a charity football match. Dave was a massive football fan supporting Liverpool all his life, this is why the two team’s will be in the colours of Liverpool and Everton Football Club.
