Lincoln City Kit Prediction?

After Lincoln City signed a three-year deal with Italian sports manufacturer Errea earlier on today, ElWriteBack looks at the possible designs for the 2015/16 season.

Errea is an Italian sports brand which was set up in 1988. They are currently kit manufactures of teams in the English Premier League, Serie A in Italy and La Liga in Spain. Errea are familiar to Lincolnshire after producing Boston United’s kits since 2010 and Grimsby Town’s since 2008.

I have got three possible designs for the new Imps home kit.

Option 1
Option 1

Option one shows the traditional red and white stripes of Lincoln City with a Gold trim. Although Sincil Bank hasn’t seen any gold and glory for many years this kit design is very stylish and brings an alternative to the simple plain red and white stripes. The white panel across the left of the chest would allow the new revamped Lincoln City badge stand out to the crowd. After being relegated in the 2010/11 season will this kit inspire a promotion push by Chris Moyses men.

Option 2
Option 2

Option two shows the traditional red and white stripes of the Imps. With a nostalgic white collar this shirt brings a class and stylish look. This kit is a throw back similar to the design from Lincoln’s 1993-1994 season. Could you see Liam Hearn and Matt Rhead netting for City in this design?

Option 3
Option 3

Option three is very similar to Option two but the Errea badge is seen to be black. Cheltenham Town F.C. used this design which could be seen to inspire the Imps kit for the 2015/16 season. Again this design has the traditional red and white stripes with a retro collar.

Another question on City fan’s minds is the idea of what colour the Imps away kit will be this season? In the past seasons kits have been blue, white and green? The home shirt will be revealed at the end of June ahead of the 2015/16 season.
